Sculpt and Paint Single Class

Welcome to an exclusive class at We Are Ceramics studio where you make your own clay piece!

The class is taking place at Diana's We Are Ceramics Studio in Long Island City Art Center Building located on 44 02 23rd Street, Third Floor

Celebrate and honor your creativity with a meaningful, hands-on clay workshop, perfect for connecting through clay and mindfulness. This cozy and welcoming ceramics class is designed for spending quality time together while making something truly special.

In this session, you’ll create your own handmade piece. You can each make up to one individual piece or collaborate on a shared project if you are coming with a special one. Along the way, you’ll learn the fundamentals of handbuilding, including pinching and slab construction, followed by decorating and finishing with adding color with plenty of guidance in a relaxed, beginner friendly environment.

All materials, firings, and glazing are included.

The class is intentionally thought, and is open to all experience levels. Whether you’re celebrating something or simply honoring your creativity you’ll leave with a meaningful handmade piece and lasting nice memory. The pieces will be picked up 2-3 weeks later after all firings and glazing is done.
